I have been shooting Tan Madonnas collections for 3 years now and they recently contacted me again to shoot their latest collection, BLOOMSTATE — a line that beautifully merges feminine design with functional surfwear in beautiful pop colours. Shot along the sunlit coast of Mexico, this campaign was as much about capturing the movement of the waves as it was about celebrating personal growth and confidence, both in and out of the water.

As a photographer, what I love most about projects like this is the energy — the way vibrant prints move in the waves, the candid laughter shared between sets, and the moments when the sun hits the fabric just right, turning the scene into something magical. It’s more than just swimwear; it’s a feeling of blooming confidence and freedom.

For this shoot, I worked with two incredible Mexican surfer girls: Patty Ornellas and Bri Castel. Both brought the collection to life with their effortless style, playful spirit, and undeniable love for the ocean. We spent the day blending action-packed surf shots with relaxed lifestyle moments on the beach, capturing the versatility and beauty of the designs against a stunning coastal backdrop.
